If you're with someone and notice their body stiffens and they are having a seizure, you can take a few first aid steps to make them feel better or more comfortable. Firstly, it's important that you maintain calmness with the person. If they have food or fluid in their mouths, roll them on their side and keep any sharp or dangerous objects far away from them. Put a soft pillow under their head and loosen any tight clothing. If possible, time the seizure and reassure the person till they recover.
