Make this your first - and hopefully not your last climb in the magnificent Himalayan region. Tharpu Chuli Peak, also referred to as Tent Peak, due to being in the shape of a tent, is located in the central Annapurna region. This is not a ?walk in the park?, but with a reasonable level of fitness and preparation you will reach the summit. Tharpu Chuli Peak (5633m) climb takes you via Machapuchare Base Camp through snow and ice. From the summit you can see some of the great colossal snow clad mountains: Annapurna I (8091m), III (7555m) and South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (7647m), Khangsar Kang (7485m) and Tarke Kang (7193m).
