Pradhyuman Murder case – Bail to conductor Ashok Kumar

Arrested by Gurgaon police as prime accused of the murder of a seven-year-old student of Ryan International school, bus conductor Ashok Kumar was granted bail on Tuesday by the special court for women and child on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. Gurgaon police had arrested Ashok Kumar on Sept 8 within hours of murder of class 2 student of Ryan International School, Bhondsi as a prime accused. CBI, which had taken over the investigation from police on Sept 22, submitted before the court had no proof against Ashok. After elaborate arguments on Nov 16 and 20 during which PradhyumnThakur�s father Barun Thakur opposed the bail application and CBI raised the problem associated with the jurisdiction of Gurgaon court in the matter investigated by the agency, the court granted bail to the 42-year-old bus conductor.
