Polyacrylamide is defined as an organic polymer extracted from the acrylamide subunit. Polyacrylamide is synthesized as a simple linear chain structure using N, N'-methylenebisacrylamide, but can be modified to form branched highly structured cross-linked variants. It is essentially a white water-soluble solid polymer of acrylamide, used as a coagulant, flocculant, and filtration aid in application areas determined by ionic types such as anions, non-ions, and cations as its physical form.
