Sunday, August 29, is going to be a memorable day for the history of Indian sports, courtesy the country's performance at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. India, who failed to bag a medal in the first four days of the event, put up a sensational show on Sunday to bag as many as two silver medals by the time of writing the news (6pm IST). The day for India started with Bhavina Patel's silver. Though the table tennis player lost to world no 1 Zhou Ying 7-11, 5-11, 6-11 in the final of Class 4 table tennis event, her entry for the final had already assured India of a medal a day before. The game, which lasted for more than 20 minutes, saw Bhavina struggle in the first two set. She tried to force a comeback in the third game but eventually lost the contest. Things didn't end as expected for the Indian player, but she made sure the country had a lot to rejoice with its first medal at the 2020 Paralympics.
