As a novel strategy in the therapy various diseases especially oncotherapy, ADCs has received much attention in recent years. It performs targeted therapy owing to the specificity of the monoclonal antibody moiety and the cytotoxicity of the payloads. The majority of ADCs in current oncology clinical trials are canonical IgGs and most of which are built on IgG1 scaffolds.

Immunotoxin is a human-made protein that consists of a targeting portion linked to a toxin. When the protein binds to that cell, it is taken in through endocytosis, and the toxin kills the cell. The toxin is usually a cytotoxic protein derived from a bacterial or plant protein, such as Diphtheria toxin (DT), Cholera toxin (CT), Trichosanthin (TCS), Dianthin etc.. The antibody transports the toxin in the body and selectively targets it to tumor cells by binding to a cell-surface antigen. The toxin then enters the cell and incapacitates it by irreversibly blocking an essential metabolic process. As it has little harm to normal tissues, it is vividly called "the biological missiles".

Copper(II) sulfide is an inorganic salt with the formula CuS. It can be found in nature as the mineral covellite. Copper(II) sulfide is one of many copper sulfur binary compounds. The compound is slightly conductive and has potential uses in photovoltaics and as a catalyst. Copper(II) sulfide can be made by bubbling H2S gas through a solution with a copper(II) cation like basic copper carbonate or copper(II) sulfate. Another method of creating copper(II) sulfide is melting a mixture of copper(I) sulfide and an excess of sulfur together.
Silver Acetate is a white crystalline chemical compound with the molecular formula C2H3AgO2. It has a slightly acidic odor. Silver Acetate is a photosensitive compound i.e., sensitive to light. It is a moderately water-soluble crystalline silver source that decomposes to silver oxide on heating. Silver Acetate is used in the medical field to manufacturing anti-smoking medicine and also in the preparation of reflective, conductive silvered polymer films. The other names for Silver Acetate are Silver monoacetate and Silver ethanoate. Silver Acetate is prepared by the reaction between Acetic acid and Silver carbonate at 45-60 °C. Along with the Silver Acetate compound Water and Carbon dioxide are also generated.
