Nowhera Shaik founded the Heera group of companies in 1998 with the noble goal of empowering underprivileged women. She wanted to provide them jobs and help them become self-sufficient. Heera Group's initial business venture was in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. She later expanded her business to include Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and other states.
