Autonomous Thruster - Tow Botic Systems

Tow Botic Systems02 Mar, 2022Technology

Tow-botic Systems is evolving zero emission underwater robots to autonomously attach thrusters directly to the ship's hull upon arrival in port. The ship can then be controlled from the connection by the Master or Pilot using a handheld device, or autonomously maneuvered to the desired wharf. Available autonomous thruster configurations Optional dimensions: 60 kw, 150 kw, 300 kw, 450 kw, 600 kw Optional configurations: non-azimuth thrusters for athwartship thrust only, 360 deg azimuth thrusters spread below keel, 360 deg deflector do not spread below keel for shallow water operations Electric energy storage system: Sized as per exact port and project necessities

Detachable Thrusters - Maritime Technologies - Portable Thrusters

Tow Botic Systems26 Jan, 2022Technology

Two Botic Systems ambitions for increasing efficient and long-lasting solutions for operations and the advancement of Maritime Technologies. Simple to set up detachable thrusters for barges, pontoons, jack-ups, transhippers, and shuttle boats. Regardless of the level of draught or centerboard, the portable thrusters may reach the bottom of any vessel. The research aims at developing zero-emission underwater robots. There are financial savings as well the removal of inefficiencies using this technology. For avoiding any injuries to the workers, there is a strong emphasis on safety. Because the system is battery-powered, there are no pollutants or fuel leaks to worry about.
