The iPhone XS Max debuted in 2018. It arrived with two other iPhones, the iPhone XR and the iPhone XS. It was the top-of-the-line model, and the most expensive iPhone ever made. Of course, the later models broke its monopoly over price and other specs. The iPhone XS Max had some unique features that set it apart from its predecessors and peers. For the first time, Apple toyed with a bigger screen to compete with large-sized Android phones. The screen size was 6.5 inches, and the iPhone XS was 5.8 inches. Its OLED panel with Super Retina HD display had a resolution of 2688x1242, which amounts to 458 ppi pixel density. The display had finesse and clarity, although it did not have the QHD resolution available in its arch-rival, the Samsung Galaxy S10. Still, it was ahead of other rivals like Huawei P20 Pro and the OnePlus 6.
"The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch Super-Retina OLED display with 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution. The display is one of the best we've seen on an iPhone, and it's bright, colourful, and sharp. It has an A12 Bionic processor which is a six-core processor manufactured by TSMC on a 7nm process. The iPhone XS has 4GB of RAM and 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB of NAND flash storage. The iPhone XS has a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual optical image stabilization. It also has a 7-megapixel front-facing camera.
