Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das on Thursday said the central bank continues to have ?serious and major? concerns about the cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and has conveyed them to the government. It is for the government to take a call on what to do in the matter, Das said, adding that he would like to have ?credible explanations and answers? on the value such instruments can get to the Indian economy.

India Criticizes China on its New Land Border Law

India on Wednesday hit out at China for bringing out a new land border law and said it expects Beijing to avoid taking any action under the ?pretext? of the legislation that could ?unilaterally? alter the situation in the border areas. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi described China?s decision to bring out the law as a matter of ?concern? as it can have implications on the existing bilateral pacts on the management of the border and the overall boundary question.
