The makers of our Constitution were very well aware of the fact that a democratic country won't survive without strong pillars. In order to establish a welfare state, providing socio-economic justice to the people is equally important. By keeping this in mind, the Constitution laid down some principles and guidelines in Part IV of the Constitution known as the Directive Principle of State Policy.

Turn on any news channel, and you will hear the words Right-Wing and Left-Wing. Along with these two words come the different ideologies like leftism, rightism, capitalism, communism, and socialism. These words describe the different political ideologies. I am sure that many people are not aware of what they mean. Also, these words are losing their real sense of meaning.

Tree Plantation Drive

If some plantation does take place, no one comes forward to take up the responsibility. No one makes sure that the trees will ultimately survive. The plantation drive will only be successful if everyone comes along and shows their participation. Is it the responsibility of just one person? Everyone should come together and be a part of this drive as our locality belongs to us, and it's our collective responsibility.
