MissionOS integrated sensor monitoring, construction data management and BIM information within a real-time environment to enable engineers to quickly analyse data with a minimum of processing for demolition, construction or post construction phases. As designs for taller and more architecturally ambitious towers & structures grow, so does the challenge of conventional construction techniques. Constructors now have to take into account ambient movements due to temperature and wind as well as the complex interaction of dynamic and static movements as the structure comes under temporary and permanent loads.
In order to do repeatable feedback on tunnel data first the information has to be gathered in structured automated or semi?automated ways. The MissionOS platform has a completely configurable and dynamic data model which enables users to create tables. Please visit the website to read full article
Geostatistics is a class of applied statistics used to analyze the spatial relationship of data in order to make predictions at unsampled locations. It is considered the best approach to model the spatial distribution and variability of geological and geotechnical properties. It provides a framework to integrate data from many sources (e.g., geological interpretation, direct measurements and secondary measurements/information. The method is practical (consistent with the data), repeatable and can easily be updated as additional information is obtained. Please visit the website and contact us to know more about the service!
Maxwell GeoSystems configurable MissionOS platform is being used to manage all aspects of componentised "off-site" construction. The combination of SCADA, GIS and BIM in one web-based platform leads to simpler systems and more connected working. Please visit the website to read full article
MissionOS has the capability to create comprehensive common data environments for construction works. Whilst it is not a CAD programme and is not used to create design drawings, it hosts a wide variety of geometric objects describing elements of construction and manage all the associate metadata for your project. The first thing that happens when a tender starts in your organisation is for a few gigabytes of PDFs to land in your inbox from the client. The second thing is for your colleagues in a variety of offices to start bombarding you with questions about the job because you are "the person on the ground". What if you could quickly put this into a digital twin to provide the context of the data and make sure everyone understood the job at hand ? What if you could extract data as data from PDFs and other sources and build up the design directly in the twin using predictions published to the twin by co-workers ? You can in MissionOS using some simple steps. Please visit the website and contact us to know more about the service!
- MissionOS as a Risk Management Tool Insurers require every construction project to implement active risk management. This comprises the identification of geographic and well as activity based hazards, evaluating consequence and risk and alerting the various project staff on a constant basis as information and progress changes. - Productivity Management through Interactive and Automatic Shift Reports Admin users can design activity lists for both planned and actual shifts accompanied by plant and labour records. A variety of shift report types are available from simple manual gantt type data entry, zone and rig- based with activities which can be populated directly from dataloggers. Hazard and risk data can be added for activities as well as geographical risks and combined in blogs into live reports. Please visit the website to read full article
Maxwell GeoSystems (MGS) have access to a number of satellite resources to undertake satellite interferometric radar processing and present these results in MissionOS. These satellites include the ?free? European Space Agency Sentinel data (below) and commercial satellites such as TerrasarTX and Cosmo Skymed which we have used since 2008. We have a history of successful delivery of InSAR monitoring through our own processing and delivery through to the absorption and presenting data provided by others. Projects include Melbourne Metro, HS2, LA Metro and Hong Kong tunnels. Please visit the website to read full article
Stressed bridges and structures require monitoring during the construction and post construction stages to ensure proper performance against design. MissionOS with its real time capability to calculate derived structural parameters from instrumentation measurements and compare this to construction progress and prediction de-risks the construction and provides a powerful platform for long term structural health monitoring. The MissionOS platform takes instrumentation data outputs in real time from a variety of Digital Acquisition Units (DAUs) and performs automated pre-processing into time series data with accompanying metadata.
Optimising Risk Management The MissionOS system is a highly valuable management tool, identifying the sources of risk and uncertainty, determining their impact and rapidly establishing appropriate corrective actions to mitigate & minimise the risk levels MissionOS delivers active-risk management Through demonstrating active risk management, MissionOS has delivered success in negotiated project-wide insurance. MissionOS is a platform which manages active construction data and is an ideal tool to track the data from structural performance & behaviour during the post-construction phase of slope construction. The long term monitoring of the behaviour of structural elements such as retaining walls, tiebacks and anchoring at slopes, especially for those which are pre-stressed, should be carried out in order to study the actual performance of strain or deflection compared to the design. Often there is a requirement for on-going site monitoring for a period of 2 to 5 years after construction is completed. It is neither practical or economic to continuously take the readings manually after the main active period.
