The LIBS spectrometer LIS-01 works via the Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) technology. LIBS is an atomic emission technique, which uses the difference in refraction of the light from the various elements that are present in an alloy. Size of measurement point is 50 microns and duration of measurement is 1.0 second.
