If you see blood stain, you should wipe the affected area using an untidy cloth soaked in cold water to get rid of it. Make sure to use an uncolored rag whenever possible. This will stop any dyes from getting into the mattress. If your mattress is covered with a removable cover take the cover off first. After that, you can wipe the stain both on the mattress and the cover substance underneath. Blotting the stain using cold water immediately is the most effective way to ensure that the stain does not remain for a long time. If you are blotting your mattress, don?t apply too much pressure to the mattress. The excess water could soak into the mattress and result in mildew ? this is especially the case with latex and Memory foam mattresses. Don?t rub on the fabric as it can cause damage to the delicate fabric, pushing the stain further into the mattress.

When you are first unpacking the silk sheet be sure to read and follow the instructions for care particularly if it?s the first time you wash. Silk sheets are very easy to maintain and need only some extra care. Clean your silk sheets before you use them the sheets. Hand washing silk in cold water. A machine wash using the delicate cycle at a low temperature is acceptable too. Silk should always be washed in a separate load that is SILK-ONLY. All silk products should be rinsed in mesh laundry bags with a delicate luxury soap for silk (preferably one designed specifically to be used on silk).

Vacuum your mattress. If you own an upholstery attachment, you can use it for this task. Do not use an attachment that is not designed for rolling brushes, as it could damage the mattress surface. Use narrow, overlapping movements to clean the sides and tops of your mattress. Pressing too hard will cause your machine to lose its suction. Make sure to clean the edges and seams, as they can collect dust and dead skin cells. For this part of the mattress, you can switch to the crevice attach.
