How does virtual patching works

Each physical VDI in the VDI network has a corresponding policy that determines when a patch is required. A deep security virtual patching solution implemented correctly can ensure that only trusted sources - those that have been granted access to sensitive information through a direct or indirect contact - are patched. A VDI administrator can create policies that allow for only specific types of physical memory dump files (using the dump file protection policy) or only certain threads (using the thread's policy).
