Hometown Community Banks is our online and digital identity. You will see Hometown Community Banks on our website, Online Banking, Mobile App and our Debit/Credit Cards. In August of 1980, Morton Community Bank opened a mini-bank within the new Morton?s Martin Food Store. The Martin?s Food Store building, after a complete remodeling in 1999, became the Main Office of Morton Community Bank. There have been many changes in banking over the years?from hand calculating and posting transactions to today?s technological age of Debit/ATM Cards, Online Banking and Bill Pay, Mobile Banking, and Text Alerts. However, one thing that has not changed is that Morton Community Bank was founded as a Community Bank and remains so to this day with over 475 hometown employees in the communities we serve. We are an ESOP (Employe Stock Ownership Plan) bank in which employees are the owners! We look forward to what the future will bring.

The Secured Visa Credit Card allows you to pay for purchases with the convenience of a typical credit card; however, transaction balances are ?secured? by your own funds. Upon application approval, your deposit will be kept in a Secured Savings Account with Morton Community Bank. Your credit limit will equal the funds in your Secured account. Just like a traditional credit card, you will receive a billing statement and make regular payments. Responsible use and consistent payments can help increase your credit score.
