The original HeadBlade was designed in 1997 by Todd Greene out of necessity. He had been suffering for years with the traditional stick razor, and felt there had to be a better way. Years of development followed, and then in 1999 HeadBlade was introduced. It was a razor designed by a head shaver for the head shaver. The design was elegant and functional with an ergonomic handle--it truly was the fastest, closest, safest shave for the head. The bold, new design was quickly adopted and became one of TIME magazine's �Best Inventions of the Year� in 2000. More awards followed and HeadBlade was chosen to be part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
