All UAE Doctors can Now Apply for Golden Visa

All resident doctors in the United Arab Emirates will be able to apply for ?golden visas,? a 10-year permit that covers specialized fields such as science, innovation, and health care. Between July 2021 and September 2022, all doctors licensed by a UAE health regulatory agency can apply for the 10-year Golden Visa. Moreover, seven offices related to the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) will be set up around the UAE for doctors who prefer to apply for the golden visa in person. In May of last year, more than 200 doctors in Dubai were granted a 10-year golden visa for their efforts to protect the emirate from Covid-19. The long-term visa permits foreigners to work, live and study without requiring an Emirati sponsor. The golden visa will provide doctors and their families a 10-year residency, allowing them to settle in the country.
