Established in 1998 by Johnson and her husband, Richard, a pioneer in the treatment of alcoholics and drug abusers, Amicus House is a model for several other treatment programs around the state. A respected member of the community, Lori Johnson has proven her commitment to helping others. In addition to directing operations at the primary treatment facility, she supervises a network of certified transition houses. Amicus House is licensed and certified by the State of California.
