Proper Filtration The pool's filtration system is crucial for removing impurities and debris from the water. A properly functioning filtration system ensures that the pool water is free of contaminants that can cause illness or skin irritation. Regular Skimming and Brushing Skimming the surface of the pool with a net removes debris such as leaves, insects, and other floating objects. Brushing the sides and bottom of the pool removes dirt, algae, and other buildup. Balanced Chemicals Proper chemical balance is crucial for a clean swimming pool. The pH level should be between 7.2 and 7.8, and the chlorine level should be between 1 and 3 parts per million (ppm). Chemical levels that are too high or too low can cause skin and eye irritation.
