A hidden edge is a hard disk used to block a pipeline or to make a breakpoint. Similar to a regular flange, the Blind Flange has mounting holes around the perimeter and gasket holes are formed in the mating surface. The difference is that the empty edge doesn?t have an opening for the passage of liquids. Instead, it is placed between two open lips, stopping the flow through the tube. Often this kind of blockade is used when adding another line to an existing pipeline or when adding a new valve.
