What are Pancreatic Diseases and How to Treat Them?

Ayurveda Pancreatitis Clinic06 May, 2023Health

The pancreas is an essential glandular organ in the digestive system located behind the stomach and adjacent to the small intestine. It adds digestive juices into a network of ducts that eventually empty into the small intestine to process the semi-digested food sent by the stomach. The pancreas produces hormones such as amylase, lipase (for digestion of carbs and fats) , insulin and glucagon (for sugar level regulation), since they also do the crucial task of regulating blood sugar levels.
