Customers can be flexible without incurring fines under Southwest Airlines' friendly cancellation policy. Flight cancellations are accepted up to ten minutes before to the planned departure time. Within a year of the initial booking date, the fare amount for non-refundable tickets (also known as Wanna Get Away fares) is transformed into a travel credit. There is a complete refund available in the original payment method for refundable tickets (Anytime and Business Select rates). There are no additional costs, however rebooking may result in rate discrepancies.
