Customer-friendly and penalty-free, Southwest Airlines has flexible cancellation policies. Up to ten minutes before to the scheduled departure time, passengers may cancel their trips. In the event that a ticket is non-refundable (Wanna Get Away rates), the whole cost of the ticket is transformed into a travel credit that can be applied to another trip within a year of the initial reservation date. Refundable tickets (Anytime and Business Select fares) are refundable in full, returning the money paid in the original method. Rebooking may result in fare variations, but there are no change costs.
