Fatty acids that do not contain double bonds are called saturated fatty acids. A type of fatty acids without unsaturated bonds ((double bonds) in the carbon chain, which is one of the basic components of lipids. Saturated fatty acids have no unsaturated bonds, so they are stable and not easily oxidized.
