Saankhy Shaastra, or Samkhya Shastra, is an ancient Hindu philosophy that explores the nature of reality through a dualistic framework. It distinguishes between Purusha (consciousness) and Prakriti (matter), proposing that the material world evolves from the interaction of these two fundamental principles. This philosophical system, attributed to the sage Kapila, emphasizes understanding the cosmos and self-realization through enumeration and categorization of elements, such as the three gunas (qualities) and the twenty-five tattvas (principles).
