Islamic prayer mats come in two different types. One is called a salah mat and the other is known as namaz mat. The difference between the two is just the location of where the prayer mat will be placed. A splash mat is usually placed on top of the ground or a prayer carpet. The namaz mat is usually placed under a prayer table or a chair.
