Navigating the Overlap ADA, FMLA, and Workers� Compensation in 2024

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in several areas, including employment, transportation, public accommodations, communications and access to state and local government programs and services. Like the ADA, Family Medical Leave Act requirements are based on the employee's family or medical emergencies. Workers' compensation is another aspect assisting employees with essential reasonable accommodation and interactive processes. Even though there are different federal facilities, these three overlap in prominent situations. Navigating through this overlap could be hectic, but this session profoundly addresses the overlap and situations where what and why apply, as well as many more crucial aspects to ensure compliance.
