lab attendance is mandatory and really worth going to. Helps you understand material more if you're not sure. lecture attendance isn't mandatory, I went to very few of them. He really cares and knows what he is talking about. He makes a point and goes out of his way to make sure all questions are answered and everyone understands the material.
