Lufthansa Cargo and Kuehne Nagel partner for power-to-liquid aviation fuel
Lufthansa Cargo and Kuehne+Nagel announce an exclusive partnership for the promotion and use of power-to-liquid aviation fuel. The industry is slowly trying to adapt the sustainable way of business with SAF.The logistics service providers have jointly committed to supporting the production site for synthetic SAF in Werlte, Emsland (Germany) by purchasing 25,000 litres per year for the next five years. Synthetic fuels have not yet been produced industrially, but are available only in laboratory quantities.
