The picturesque village of Sankri in Uttarakhand, which is situated at an elevation of 6,000 feet, is where the Kedarkantha trek begins. The Kedarkantha walk leads through dense pine and oak tree woods, frozen lakes, and icy trails to the Kedakantha summit, which is located at an elevation of 12,500 feet, with panoramic views of snow-covered peaks virtually the entire way. In addition to additional days for travel from Dehradun and elsewhere, the complete trip from Sankri and back takes about 4 days.
