Claudius Galen (Jalinoos) was the most renowned doctor (hakim) from Asia Minor (The Roman Empire). His research in the field of medicine has had a profound influence on the ancient Arabs as well as Greeks for more than 15 centuries. Jalinoos had been an apprentice to Aristotle ( Arastoo) and Hippocrates ( Buqrat). The time of his birth was the year 129 A.D. at an ancient Greek city Pergamon, Mysia, Anatolia (Asia Minor) Modern Turkey.
