Jacques Martin Ferrieres was a pupil of his father Henri Martin as well as Cormon, Ernest Laurent. He exhibited in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Fran?ais, of which he became a member and where he was declared hors-concours.He won the Prix National in 1925, and gold medal and the Institute?s Prix Legay-Lebrun in 1928.In 1965 he gave an exhibition of Venice landscapes and snowscapes.
