There are many different intermittent fasting methods, but the most popular seem to be the 16/8 method and the 5:2 method. The 16/8 method is simply fasting for 16 hours out of the day and eating during the other 8 hours. The 5:2 method is a bit more restrictive, where you fast for 2 days a week and eat normally on the other 5 days. Both of these methods have been shown to be effective in terms of weight loss and health benefits.
