IMPORTANCE OF CLEANLINESS, NEATNESS, AND PURITY IN ISLAM

Cleanliness, Neatness, and Purity is the basic human need and it?s among the best manners that a man can possess. The importance of cleanliness, neatness, and purity in Islam is exceptional. In fact, Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) said in a hadith; (description) for a believer, purity and neatness are half of the Faith i.e., Iman. In other words, faith partly consists of purity in one?s soul and partly in keeping the body physically clean and pure. The body?s purity and neatness mean keeping it clear of all the external filth and adorning it with the neatness of good manners. For pilgrims arriving in Saudia Arabia with hajj packages from UK and other countries, it?s necessary to assume the ?State of Ihram? (absolute physical purity) in order to be able to perform the holy rituals of the pilgrimage.
