The Khodiyar Mata Vrat is a religious fasting ritual embraced by followers to get the grace and favor of Khodiyar Mata, especially for safety, wealth, and the elevation of one's soul. One is supposed to do this fasting on the most favorable days, such as the celebration of Khodiyar Mata's birth anniversary (Jayanti) by initially getting up, doing a refreshing bath, and presenting the goddess with prayers.
