Holika Dahan: Rituals, Significance, and Puja Practices

Vaikunth12 Mar, 2024Religion

Holi is a 2-day festival celebrated widely across various parts of India. In this 2-day estival, Day 1 is marked by Holika Dahan, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Every year, the pandits find a shubh muhurat from Panchaang to burn the Holi pyre. In this Shubh Muhurat, people gather and celebrate by praying to Lord Vishnu and smearing Gulaal on the faces of their family and friends.
