Omega 3 fatty acids can be found in various forms. Omega 3-6 is derived from animal sources and omega 3-9 is sourced from plants. The most common form of supplementation is fish oil, which has both types of omega 3 in it. Vegetable capsules are also available, but they typically don't contain as much of the omega 3-6 fatty acid as fish oil does.
