What made the win all the more special was the fact that India had conceded a 99-run in the first innings as they were bowled out for just 191 in the first innings. However, they found a way to come back into the match thanks to their batting effort in the second innings which helped them post a challenging target of 368 for England in the final innings. Later their bowlers continued their good work and despite tasting no success initially waited patiently and eventually bowled the home team out for 210. What followed was a celebration not only by the team but even by the Indian fans at the venue. Some fans even danced to the drum beats as the iconic Bollywood melody "Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje" from Salmaan Khan-Aishwarya Rai starrer "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" started playing. Fans were also seen singing the song in unison while dancing to celebrate India's win.
