Although football broadcasts are usually occasions of fun coupled with moments of drama due to the high-intensity action on the pitch, there was drama for the most parts of it and not due to the on-field action itself. Notably, during the live broadcast of the Uganda vs Mali football match, a man who was attending the game, stood right in front of the camera which blocked the view of the game for those watching television. The reported incident wasn't just for one or two seconds but continued for a while before the man was eventually asked to move away from the camera. The match was being aired on the State Broadcaster Uganda Broadcasting Corporation. The match then was carried on smoothly after the incident and Uganda failed to reach the top of Group E of the World Cup qualifiers after a goalless draw with Mali who continue to lead the group.
