Dayara Bugyal is a high-altitude meadow and one of Uttarakhand’s most popular trekking destinations. With its clearly marked trail and gentle ascent, it is an ideal trek for families, including those with children. Beginning from Raithal village, the full route typically takes 3 to 4 days to complete. Along the way, trekkers can experience shifting alpine meadows, serene forest sections, and stunning mountain panoramas. The trek is especially renowned for its snow-covered paths in winter and spectacular views of the Garhwal Himalayas, featuring peaks such as Mt. Bandarpunch, Black Peak, Srikanth, Draupadi Ka Danda (DKD), Janoli, and the Gangotri range.
