Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced yesterday that those cities declared under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), the highest level of all covid-19 classifications, will receive cash aid from the National Government. During the recent announcements of new classification levels, the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Gingoog were declared under ECQ quarantine levels due to the spike of covid-19 cases, as well as the discovery of Delta variant in these particular areas in Mindanao. Also classified under ECQ levels were the Province of Iloilo and its capital town Iloilo City.
