Philippines Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz has celebrated triumphantly her winning of the first gold for the Philippines in the 55kg Clean and Jerk category, and after 97 years in olympics gold drought. Diaz won the gold after her dramatic final lift of 127 kg jerk that catapulted her in bagging the very elusive gold for the country. She defeated the world record holder Liao Qiuyun of the People?s Republic of China.
