The Caribbean Premier League T20 begins on August 26 when defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders take on Guyana Amazon Warriors at Warner Park, Basseterre. This year?s tournament will be played in St Kitts & Nevis with all 33 matches taking place at Warner Park. The tournament will consist of 33 matches with the final scheduled for September 15. Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) head coach Brendon McCullum will be 'unavailable' for the 2021 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Imran Jan has been appointed as the head coach of the franchise. Meanwhile, two teams changed their name ahead of CPL 2021 ? Barbados Tridents became Barbados Royals and St Lucia Zouks became St Lucia Kings.
