Air cargo demand continued to be strong in July, data from International Air Transport Association (IATA) show. Global demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometers (CTKs), was up 8.6 percent compared to July 2019. While the pace of growth slowed slightly compared to June, which saw demand increase 9.2 percent (against pre-Covid-19 levels), capacity continues to recover but is still 10.3 percent down compared to July 2019, according to data from IATA.
