The EEOC recommends that employers immediately investigate and resolve workplace harassment or discrimination complaints and highlights the various standards and regulations that must be met when such incidents are reported. If any organization or employees do not align well with suggested regulations under these laws, then EEOC takes charge and levies severe penalties and lawsuits. Pay equity under EEOC could be defined as one of the highly advocated subjects. This session will focus on the EEOC compliance aspect with respect to the discrimination and harassment scenario and how affirmative action is different from discrimination. Also, the session will focus on recent legislation (Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2021) and how professionals can navigate through regulations without hefty penalties, fines and lawsuits.
