This test detects both routine and dangerous conditions. Abdominal ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure used to assess organs and structures within the abdomen. This includes the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, bile ducts, spleen, and abdominal aorta. Ultrasound technology allows quick visualization of abdominal organs and structures from outside the body.
