A mind-boggling visual smorgasbord of massive mountain peaks to feast your eyes on! This is a must see peak that sees fewer climbers, hence more solitude and time for you to absorb the breathtaking surrounding beauty. Gurja Himal (7193m/23,599ft) is a peak within the Dhaulagiri Himal, a sub-mountain range of the Himalayas. Gurja Himal is located 21.3 km west of Dhaulagiri I, the 7th highest mountain in the world at 8167m (26,795 ft). Gurja Himal is joined by a ridge to Dhaulagiri VI (7268m). The ridge continues in an easterly direction to Dhaulagiri IV (7661m), Dhaulagiri V (7618m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m) and Dhaulagiri II (7751m), and in the west to Churen Himal, Ghustang (6529m). There is a 6010m pass that separates them.
