Hi all, Flying Southwest Airlines LAX Terminal for the first time recently was a surprisingly pleasant experience! I went in with low hopes, but their terminal was tidy, well-marked, and much more efficient than I anticipated. TSA PreCheck made waiting in line for security a breeze, and there were plenty of food choices to pick up a quick sandwich before boarding. The seats in the gate area were roomy, and I loved that there were plenty of charging stations—so much more convenient. The Southwest attendants were pleasant and relaxed, which was a welcome relief during the early morning rush. Announcements were understandable, and boarding seemed to go more smoothly than ever before. I enjoyed that although it's a busy terminal, it never felt too much. Not ideal (the restrooms could use a deeper clean), but certainly not bad either. If you're taking Southwest, it's a good option. Just get there early— traffic doesn't go away!
