The RENG product line is rooted in a vision to restore lighting as a true expression of craftsmanship and the people behind it. Designed by Brendan Bass, the collection is produced by small, family-run factories and workshops across Italy, emphasizing authenticity and human touch. Decades earlier, Brendan introduced his first lighting brand, Chart House, with a goal of creating designs that felt traditional yet refined. At that time, much of the market leaned toward overly complex and excessive styles, leaving a gap for more thoughtful, heritage-inspired pieces. As the industry shifted into the 2000s, mass production became the norm, and the narrative of craftsmanship was replaced by cost efficiency. In response, RENG was established in 2017 to reconnect consumers with makers, highlighting the importance of design origin and the hands that bring each piece to life through skilled production.
